California Family law change of venue once granted can I file an Exparte matter immediately in another county?
Nor Cal Family asked:
I need to file an Ex-parte matter in another county in California and am told that they may have to have the file in possesion to accept a Exparte order for custody. Is there a law that allows the case to start while the file is in transfer?

I don’t believe so.
