Candi-O asked: I was thinking of working as a MFT in the Department of Children and Families, or in another division called Youth and Family Services. I read of some positions for MFT’s, where your therapeutic expertise is used in counseling juvenile delinquents and their families–but what is the best way to prepare for such a career? I am asking because I was considering becoming a police officer while I’m in graduate school for MFT.
