My son married a girl that is a total control freak, she tells my son when he can bring our grandbaby to our house,how long they can stay, and refusses to let his family keep the baby at all. This has caused a lot of friction between our son and the his family. He SAYS he has tried talking to her about it, but can get nowhere with her.She will not come to our home at all anymore. My grandbaby is almost 7 months old, she will leave the baby with HER 15 year old brother but refuses to let any member of my sons family keep the baby. Like I said this has caused a lot of argueing , not to mention the heartache of not being able to spend quilty time with our only grandbaby.We have gone through this for months now and I myself am now sure how much more I can take of this, I have cried myself to sleep at night over this matter. Whats a grandmother to do. I feel as if I have done everyting but bend over backwards and kissed her ass over this problem!!

Ever since my son married, his wife always found fault with our family. She claims she never starts any trouble, but constantly insults my cooking, and criticizes my daughter and is rude and arrogant to myself and my husband, and could not understand why one day I finally got upset and told her what I thought of her being disrespectful to our family. I love my son, but he said he had to choose us or his wife, so now we never see him anymore, and he wont even call us. I, his Mom is hurt more than mad, and my daughter is hurt as well since they always had a good relationship when they were growing up together. Im not even allowed to see my grandson. Ive even apolagized for the time I got upset with her, and she still doesnt want us in their life. Im hurt, but I leave them alone. What would you do?

My partner is having trouble seeing his son at the moment, because his ex doesnt like me (jealously etc, we also have a baby together) she is taking it out on my partner and refusing to let him see him.
She has no valid grounds to stop my partner seeing his son apart from not liking me,(she attacked me in the street while i was 7 months pregnant) he has stayed at our house before and treated with the love and care he deserves.

If anyone has any answers i’d be very grateful.

P.s We don’t qualify for legal aid.

My husband’s mom and sisters are constantly having huge dillemmas and emergencies(tragedies) that are really nothing. They call and he jumps over to their rescue. It is hurting our relationship. He even told me when he was mad at them that when they see something like that is disturbing me they do it more. I’ve always got along with themjust not really hung out because we have different interests. We’ve been married 5 years but only lived in same town as family for 2. I’m not possesive or controlling, but now it is starting to bother me especially cause some of them use drugs and I don’t want him to start.
