family Law/ What procedures do i need to take to get my daughters passports?

family law
joceytinamom asked:

Can I take my two little girls with out asking their father for his consent? their father does not support them in anyway. Do I have to have his signature if the court ordered him to be clean from drugs, he has not done what court ordered, does the court then give me the full rights to make all decisions for my daughters? The court has a paper signed by him admitting to being the father of both my daughters but out of all that ordeal that was all that was done

Did the court formally sever his parental rights? If not, you still need his signature.
What the court ordered him to do, or not to do, has nothing to do with you. Having a criminal record does not diminish parental rights. ∞infiniti∞

You cannot get a passport for your children without his signature. He is still their legal father whether he is abiding by court orders or not. Jan
