Try to find the fun in the whole thing so that is doesn't bother you. For example, keep count of how many people make a comment about you being next. Find a humourous but not offensive reply to those people. (I wish I could think of one right now but nothing comes to mind.) Remember that most people aren't intentionally trying to be boors. Most people's intentions are good and they are trying to find a way to engage you in light conversation. Sanity is over-rated.
