In Washington State the DUI will remain on his official driving record for 15 years from the conviction date.

Now from an insurance stand point: they will run your record and if you do not disclose that he had a DUI in 2005, they will be able to see it anyway. It is TYPICALLY 3 years AFTER THE LICENSE WAS REINSTATED not after the conviction!

Please see this link for details:

DEPENDS ON THE STATE. I BELIEVE WASHINGTON IS 7 YEARS? IF I WERE TO RUN A CALIFORNIA MOTOR VEHICLE REPORT ON YOUR HUSBAND, IT WOULD STILL SHOW UP FOR 10 YEARS. YOU SHOULD CALL YOUR LOCAL DMV TO FIND OUT FOR SURE...
