		<description>As the earlier answer said it depends on where and what school, I went to a public law school and my debt load is only 40k.  Investigate the costs and do whatever you can to keep your current debt as low as possible.  Do the same with law school, keep in mind the field that you want to go into and the costs with that.  Family law is not the most lucrative and if you have a huge debt load, working in your field of choice may not actually be an option.
