Law school admission committees don't care about your major very much. A person with a 3.5/170 in psychology is just as likely to get in as a 3.5/170 in English (or physical education or political science or pre-law or communications or anything else). Science majors may get some flexibility because law schools realize of the subject difficulty and class curve imposed by many universities, but this admissions 'bump' is highly variable and modest at best.

If law school is really your goal, then go with the major that 1) interests you most because that'll keep you motivated to do well and 2) that you think get good grades in, as law school is really a numbers game. I wouldn't advise anyone dead-set on law school to take a hard science major unless the person definitely wanted to go into IP law for this very reason. Don't put more work on your shoulders than necessary. Do what you like and do what's going to give you good grades.

What you need to learn about family law you'll learn in law school, but psychology would probably be the best, if only because you'd learn how to deal with / understand difficult emotional situations, and those are really at the core of family law. TheOrange Evil

those are all good choices. Just make sure you pick something that you would want to do anyway. Acceptance into law school is pretty strict and not everyone gets in. Majin
