Yes, you’d have to get a release from whoever owns the rights to each character you wanted to use. Almost certainly they would expect a large sum of money for letting you use them. Judy

You would need to get permission from each creator for each character, from the writers, and potentially from the software engines that you planned to use. Scott K

If the characters and items are covered by copy rights, any usage by others without permission would tantamount to infringement of copy right and it is illegal and punishable by law !! V.T.V.RAM
