Did you say separated or divorce? Sorry girl, but as long as she holds the title, she’s still the reigning champ! Apparently, whatever is going on between your husband, his wife and his family is THEIR business. You don’t have any honors, you’re only a girlfriend. You can’t be angry at them for STILL caring about her. You don’t know what kind of relationship they all had when she and your boyfriend were together. This is a private club and you need to know your place, so don’t try overturning things, they will hurt your feelings. blu

I do hope you know what you’re talking about, because no divorce takes 5 years.

Unless there’s a house, pension, a marriage of 10+ years, a large amount of money and a bunch of kids involved, there’s is zero reason why his divorced shouldn’t have been final a long time ago. A lot of people don’t sign their own divorce papers….that doesn’t mean the court doesn’t divorce them anyway. His mommy

It is really none of your business as to how his family refers to her. Even if they were divorced they still have a right to refer to her as they wish. You are really starting out on the wrong foot with them. You need to back off and let him handle the divorce him self. Larry E

They are still legally married and therefore his family IS her “In-Laws”…

This means you should be put in YOUR PLACE…

Considering they are STILL MARRIED this means that YOU are sleeping with a MARRIED MAN…

Maybe she won’t sign the papers in hopes of reconciliation… A couple CAN and sometimes DO reconcile up until the final divorce decree is signed by the judge…

In other words… HE is CHEATING on HIS WIFE with YOU… Legally, the courts can find him at fault for infidelity (in a “at fault” state)…

Just because he isn’t with her anymore doesn’t mean his whole family is divorcing her.

She’s likely going to be at least a peripheral fixture in his life forever, especially if he has kids with her. Deal.

That baby IS her niece.

My aunt and uncle divorced 18 years ago, but I still consider him my uncle. He’s always been good to me.
