Please! Does anyone have info about family law in California?

I need to send my autistic son with his dad (my still legal husband) to California from Texas for 3 months until I can move myself and our other child out to Cali. My husband and I are seperated….and I trust him with my son but he is also saying I can’t have him back after I move there! Legal Aid takes too long! Where else can I look that is fast and cheap! If your son has lived in Texas for more than the past six months, then Texas has to enter the Orders. Open a case before you go and get a determination of custody and parenting time.

you should be able to get a free consultation,
They should be able to help.
If you have legal custody, he cant just decide he will keep them, If he does that is considered kidnapping.
He will need to go through the court system if he wants legal custody or wants the kids living with him.
