Mrs.Throbby. asked:
Ok so heres the deal..My husband and I where looking at a house next to his dad. Well his stepmom told his dad that she doesnt want us there. So she called her son (who knew we where looking at this house) and they had him buy it. No one told us about it. I know most of you will say “just look for another house and ignore the family” but it is not that easy as my brother-in-law is very close with my husband (brother-in-law lives right next to my father-in-law) any suggestions on how to deal with this.

My husband and I own our cottage property with his brother. His brother has just moved in with his girlfriend. How can we protect the property from going to her if he does not have a will in place and he should happen to die before making one? It was always the intent that his share of the property would go to our son.

Humza asked: This question is for parents that have been there or someone in family law that knows the do’s and do not’s.
My friend has been trying to get contact with his sons and the court’s have suggested he start by writing to them. He wrote one letter and hoped someone from the court’s would come and help him but she has not bothered to.
This is the second letter, but he is stuck on what to write.
He is not allowed to write:
He loves them
misses them
about his other son / their brother
about the court case (obviously)
passed memories
their belongings he still has.
Not allowed to ask questions (this will apparently force them to write back)
This is getting a bit stupid now, what is he allowed to write?
Thanks in advance

Stressing Susan asked:
Last Sunday my brothre-in-law’s girlfriend stabbed him in the arm into the back an inch away from his lung. She admitted to the police that she did what she did but hid the knife. She is out of jail today because the DA states there is not enough evidence since the weapon was never found. Is that possible? Can someone stab you and not be able to keep her in jail simply because the weapon is missing?
