Please help. I am in search of an agressive attorney that deals in child support and custody cases. My wifes ex has just sent us papers from an attorney withh all kinds of false accusations. He is notorious for being a liar but this is too far. He abuses the kids when they are there so bad that his daughter is now refusing to visit. He actually hit her in the face. Its been nothing but problems and lies from him and now its time to put an end to it once and for all.

Mama Misty asked:

My friend is going through a divorce with 2 biological children. If he takes possession of his son and she (the ex) keeps possession of the daughter, who will pay child support. Isn’t a child support order mandatory in Texas? Neither should pay child support, correct? What happens?

Does anyone know of any good, affordable family law lawyers?

We all have them, or at least know of someone with the MIL/Family In Laws from hell…but how do you cope?

My entire Family in Law HATES me. They blame me for everything wrong in their sons lives and what’s worse, is that he usually sides with them!

He let’s them convince him I’m only in it for the child support and money and I’m only getting myself pregnant to trap him…regardless of the fact that I make more money in a day than he does in a week….

There are many other things, but what’s up with this. When I tell him I’m bothered by him always siding with them, he denies it, tells me he loves me and that he doesn’t let outside influences get to him. That he and I are in the relationship, not them.

He now has everyone convinced that I’m the sole reason he was recently arrested for domestic abuse. I went to the hospital (Im fine now)…yes it takes 2 to tango, but why are they suddenly obvious to this? Why do they think I’m the one who caused it?

Any lawyers interested in taking on a pro bono case, family law? Or student lawyers? Dallas TX?
