If so, why?
If not, why not?
Arthur: No offense, but you are pretty naive about the courtroom (whether you are a law student or not). I wish the courts really WERE as you say. Alas, not!
Wow! (shaking my head in wonder)
I was just served a proof of service by mail for a child support order for notice regarding payment of support - substitution of payee. The father paids me cs for my son.
I’m just wondering why both our address’s are blocked out in the person’s served area. Weird, because we have no issues of domestic violence or anything like that at all. From what I have been reading and understanding family law code 17212 (b)(3) and (c)(6) is to protect the privacy of both of us and everything through the Child support agency is confidental. He can’t get anything on me and I can’t on him.
Though he knows all my info. I’m sure the agency does this as a privacy act. Am I right?
California. I’m sorry for leaving that out. I’m in California.
