Mom of three asked:
I have a 13yr. old that my husband would like to adopt. This is a mutual agreement between myself, my husband, and (our) 13yr. old. My 13yr. old considers him as her real dad because he has been in her life since she was about 21/2 yrs. old and her blood dad is no where to be found. Now that we are married he would like to legally change her (13yr.old) last name. So I need some help finding a good but affordable Attorney that practices in Family Law that is located in Indianapolis, IN. Please help. Thank You.

I just would like to know how often it would happen that some other family member could gain visitation with my children, if they haven’t had contact with that person for 4 years, and do not even know them?

Laura H asked:
I need to know that if I have a court order that states that the other parent who is not the primary custodian is to get the children every weekend and I live in a different county but in the same state, does the law require me to deliver them to him or should he be willing to come and pick tham up?

Lady Me asked:
If so, what is it like? where do you attend?how was your first day? were you scared or confident? is it really that hard? I mean I know it’s hard but many people like to exaggerate bunches and say that its so not worth it and too much reading and this and that. it really discourages me. I want to attend law school to specialize in family law because that’s want I care about. the family. I want to help people adopt children and all those things. also the divorces seem interesting to hear new stories and crazy cases.
thanks!
