I’m filing for divorce in CA and I’m doing it myself for financial reason. My question is about the final form (FL-130) which has a box I need to check that says:
“The parties waive their right to notice of trial,a statement of decision, a motion for new trial and the right to appeal.”
Can you simplify this statement. By the way, the form is the Appearences, Stipulations and Waivers. Thank you

Are you a Family Law Attorney or do you know if I can?

I live in CA and I’m filing for divorce, I’m also doing it myself by filling all the forms. So my question is If I file form FL-820 “Request for Judgement, Judgement of Dissolusion of Marriage and Notice of Entry of Judgement” which is the request for immediate judgement of dissolusion, will the judge grant the divorce to be effective when I file this form to the court or do I have to wait until it’s final. Help!!!
