I am who I am… deal with it! asked: I moved to a different county than the original county I had to file for “Family Law Issues”. If I need to file a motion against my sons father, can I file in the county I am in now or do I always need to file in the original county?
I moved to a county that is 1 1/2 hours from the original county…. long drive with traffic in this area!

bushnana asked: In the state of Tennessee, is it illegal to take your child and move to another state if you are filing for divorce with your spouse?
Please know what you are talking about if you answer, and giver references if you can.
Thanks for the help in advance.

If two parties entered into a new agreement that is meant to amend parts of a previous order dated in February, but found out that there was another order dated in April that already amended that February order, is the new agreement still valid? can it be used or does it need to be rewritten to reflect the April date?
- the new agreement amended items from the february order that were not already amended or changed in any way by the April order.

Judo*Knuckle asked:
Good morning, and thank you in advance for your answers.
In California, a man has 3 children. Child A with his first and ex-wife, and children B and C with his second and current wife.
Child B has a known and documented disability. Does this factor at all into the monthly amount that he has to pay towards child A ?
I do know that if child A had the disability, the man would have to pay more towards the care of that child on a monthly basis.
Does California Family Law apply any hardship deductions to the children of the second family?
Thanks again.
It’s a recent diagnosis, within the last 6 months.
But the mother of child A knows about it…. and then proceeded to request a child support modification (extreme increase) for child A.

Incognito asked:
What options, if any, are open to me when contesting the amount of “increase” in child support my ex is requesting?
I pay over seven hundred dollars for my child and she is wanting an increase. We will be going to court soon and I will get an attorney before then. Do I have any options to fight this increase? Her standard of living is higher then mine and my second family. Will an attorney be able to fight this or negotiate

My ex-wife has not appeared at settlement conference, trial date and at further proceedings. The judge says he’s going to investigate further and send me his decision by mail. This is a child custody and visitation case and I’m seeking sole legal and physical custody in the state of California. What are my options from here??
