Hardly working! asked:

My 4 y/o daughter has recently had problems when I drop her off at day care. (home base center). she’s been going there for a while & suddenly she cries “please don’t leave me, the cops are going to take you away, don’t leave me all alone”
I guess I should mention that her BFF (neighbors kid) recently came to the house & told us that her dad was in jail… then 2 weeks later tells us her mom is in jail (That’s a whole new topic, cause I’m on the verge of calling protective services on them, anyways,) So this is why my daughter is freaking out.
Okay… so I call my X mother in law. My family isn’t too involved. Her father throws tantrums & isn’t speaking to me. I asked grandma what she thinks I should do. She tells me “put her on medication, she has the same anxiety when she comes with me and her dad, she’s hit, punched me a few times” OMG!!!!! I neeeever knew this! I was SHOCKED! This is NOT allowed in my home, she never disrespects me nor has she ever at daycare.
My daughter hasn’t gone with her dad in about a year. He & grandma come to visit her once or twice a month –they live out of town.
I was at my limit when I called and reached out for help from my X-MIL…
She was absolutly sweet & told me she’d do anything to help!
I asked if she could watch her for a few days .. but since she hadn’t been to her house in a yr maybe start out w/just one weekend.
WE seem to think the problem is…. my daughter is ALWYS with me… she never goes anywhere else but day care and with mom.. I never get a day off unless I’m at work.. otherwise she’s always with me.. and maybe that’s not so good.. she needs to know that I’ll still be there even if we seperate for a tad bit.. I’ll always come back.. anyways.. grandma tells me to call her.. I do and she does’nt pick up.. I called twice. Should I give up on calling? I have no one else to turn to.. it’s so frustrating sometimes.. she was my only -person- I could reach out for help..
Well there is nothing to report so I’m not concerned about that -at all.
She only started this crying because of what her friend said. Plus another kid at day care (home based day care) his father is also locked up. Believe it or not this is a good area that we live in, but bad things happen anywhere. Anyways, I tell her that I’m sorry for what happened in those other houses but that’s not the case at home.. she’s slowly believing it.

I guess my main question is what I should do about my X MIL.

I know how to handle my daughter… but I don’t know how to handle the X inlaws!

Oh yeah.. her father is throwing a tantrum over a dispute me and him had not to long ago.. I think it was HIM who told his mom to not talk to me.. even if it has to do with our daugther.. what a baby!

ugh what to do!
When grandma suggested to put her on ANXIETY MEDICATION I totally bypassed it.
I mean come on.
WHY on earth would I medicate my 4 y/o if she neeeeeever has issues other than when it’s dads weekend & grandma and dad come visit w/her (w/out me present)
Um… that’s not my daughters problem,.. it’s just that she’s not bonding w/them the way she should be… who’s fault is that.
THANKS EVERYONE for such great advice and making me see things a bit clearer!
Thanks parents!!!!!

autumn wolf asked:

Ever since my son married, his wife always found fault with our family. She claims she never starts any trouble, but constantly insults my cooking, and criticizes my daughter and is rude and arrogant to myself and my husband, and could not understand why one day I finally got upset and told her what I thought of her being disrespectful to our family. I love my son, but he said he had to choose us or his wife, so now we never see him anymore, and he wont even call us. I, his Mom is hurt more than mad, and my daughter is hurt as well since they always had a good relationship when they were growing up together. Im not even allowed to see my grandson. Ive even apolagized for the time I got upset with her, and she still doesnt want us in their life. Im hurt, but I leave them alone. What would you do?

What would the mother had to have done to be involuntarily committed to a mental institution? Would she had to have committed a crime? How can a family member have control over an individual?

crazartgirl asked:

Do they have to pay up their child support from that inheritance?
I know that if they get income tax monies that they have to pay their back child support with their return. My ex husband hasn’t ever paid any of his child support to me and he will eventually get inheritance money from his Mom and StepFather’s estate.
Would I be entitled to the money as well for back child support ?

Betts001 asked:

Hello,

I need help before I see a lawyer. I bought a property under my mom’s name about 3 years ago. My mom is getting divorce in a few months and I wouldn’t like my property to harm her when they separate their properties( they have 3 more properties). Can I do a quitclaim deed to my name before she initiates the divorce?. Please help me !

Thanks B
