My husband has a daughter in MA&moved to CA about 2 yrs ago for job relocation. His ex (never married to her) refuses to let him fly back, pick up his daughter, &fly back here for a couple weeks. His normal visitation has been 2 weeks in the summer and every other weekend (while we lived in MA). We didnt want to push his daughter last summer to visit us bc we werent sure if she could stay away from her mom for that long, but she seems ready now. Now, that we have mentioned our intentions to her mother, she is planning vacations for her family ALL summer..including a trip out of the country. The original court agreement says his ex has to get permission from him even to leave the state, and now shes planning on leaving the country.

My Q is: is there any way to get a cout date in MA while still being in CA? She is about to be in contempt & we cant afford to fly out there to set a court date in person only to have to fly back for that court date prob a couple weeks later.. thx

I have a roommate w/2 boys(5 & 8), I have a daughter(11). I have my daughter 24/7, she shares custody w/ her ex (time split). He recently filed for sole custody. Recently the 7 y/o has been picking on the 11 y/o telling her to leave and begging mom to kick her out due to being an annoying girl (kids stuff). Mom had picked up kids for visit & son was angry at dad (said dad too busy drinkin w/ friends & watching football) & his anger carried into an incident at the home wherein he was yelling at the 11 y/o & threatening bodily harm to himself. Roommate receieved an Emergency Motion to Modify Visitation stating the children couldn’t be at her home while myself & daughter are there due to the 11 y/o bullying & harrasing the 7 y/o. They’ll issue a temporary order due to the “possibility of bodily harm to the minor”. & roommate will not be able to have her kids. Is there anything we can do with regard to the malicious accusations about my daughter or the trauma to the boys who wont see mom.
