Is there a definition under UK Law? They are giving people Unpaid leave, but this leads to a loss of earnings.

She is spoiled and gets too much attention from my husbands mom and dad, it has been this way since they were little. She got pregnant on PURPOSE after another niece of mine in the family was about to give birth to her new little one (she felt that the family would give my niece attention and not her). Anyways, I always sort of felt bad that my husband didn’t get the love and attention from his parents that he should have when he was little. So, my sister-in-law just had her baby, my question is, Should I go visit her and the baby? I don’t really like her, but I’m just confused, and don’t know what to do. Thanks to all that respond.
She got pregnant on purpose, and the reason we know is because the father of the baby (her husband) told the family.

shes always throwing that in me and my brothers face…….shes like “its not my fault you guys are not close” and it really bothers me and i told her yesterday that just because she is close to all her cousins and aunts well god bless them…but i told her that to me my family is my parents and brothers and thats all i need..cousins and aunts are just relatives and they are not family….family is what you make of it, not necessarily blood…aren’t i right?

I often wonder would we all be in the trouble we are in now if people stopped breeding like rabbits, we are struggling to feed an ever growing population of people and as food prices soar millions starve and suffer, and then I say to my self how can these people keep breeding so much not knowing when their own next meal is coming!

Resources are stretched to the limit so what do people do, they breed I mean what is the point when their are so many children out there without parents already scratching a living from landfill sites, eating endangered wildlife destroying our world by turning beautiful forests into ugly slums.

If I was poor I would not even think about having a child its common sense no one deserves to be born in a world of poverty and my heart goes out to them all.

I know it sounds drastic but one child per family law would seem a small price to pay if you consider the alternative that’s why I would support such a law desperate times call for desperate measures!

During proceedings concerning child support and custody situations is there ever an option of simply splitting custody jointly and completely absolving either party of child support payment?

I’m not familiar with family law at all- have no idea what happens in those sessions but I’m curious because i don’t think I’ve ever heard of situations where both parents simply split custody (half the time with papa and the other half with mama) and therefore ruling that neither party should pay child support.

And wouldn’t this make more sense than mandatory child support payments?- I don’t know the answer to this- hence the asking of the question
Oh and this question is meant to imply even if there is a difference in income
thanks Joe but I meant as a primary option if feasable (they live close enough to make it work for example) even if one party would rather take the money

My husband and I are visiting my father-in-law’s family this year for Christmas. This family consists of his parents, 11 siblings and many of their grown children. We are trying to come up with good ideas to give each family for under $10 each. I don’t know them well enough to give them something personal. We thought of candles, but that is what my FIL is giving them. We’re also not very crafty, so we’re looking for something we can buy. Any help is greatly appreciated. My fiancé & I have been having major child custody issues with his child for the past 1-2 years, he is a DARN GOOD FATHER, & I’m not just saying that because we are together. He deserves to spend as much if not more time w/his son as the mother. Not many people can endure all the cr#p he has had to deal with just to be with his son. His son is being abused by his “other” parents, & it just seems like NO ONE cares (court system). WE are desperate, please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
