What happens in a family law trial?
K asked:
I have a discovery session at the end of this month. My x-wife (she is receiving support) hid few bank accounts, withdrawed money from them, transfered to some friends, hid the jewellery (I submitted pictures of her wearing jewelery but she says its a fake rented jewelery). If in discovery she keep lying and searches are done after discovery and she is found of lying under oath than what could be the outcome of going to trial?

Let’s face it , lying under oath is encouraged….And sometimes rewarded. merlin

She can be charged with perjury. And should she deny still under oath, she could also be found in contempt of court. Mia

Good luck. I will be coming into a lot of money soon and my family won’t be alive as they will be sentenced to death for crimes against humanity. The money is mine and I simply won’t tolerate any disputes. The bottom line is the money is mine and that is final.
If she lies under oath she can be arrested as it is a crime of perjury. Have her arrested and be done with it. Im not going to let anyone get my money and the courts will not hear the case as the money comes to me and if anyone tries to take one red cent from me it will be a fatal mistake. Dianna

I have seen so many ridiculous lies go through the family court I can’t tell you what will happen.
In general they will believe her ignore you(or any facts you present) and and view you as a walking ATM who will help balance their budget. Lawyers on both sides will try to delay and work you both over for every penny they can suck out of you. Cackus

I mean, if you can actually prove that she is doing it then she is in for a world of hurt, but actually proving it is going to be tough. Unfortunately people lie under oath all the time, seems to mean very little to people these days unless they get caught Kathleen
