I am being sued by my rich parents for the custody of my kids. I don’t think I should go to court without representation. does anyone know where I can get an attorney for free? Or low cost, I guess.

The Free Lawyers are right next to the Free Grocery Store and Free Car Dealership.

You pay for everything else you use. Are your children less important? If so, perhaps you should surrender custody voluntarily. You really don’t sound like a very good parent. Elwood P. Dowd

They don’t exist, sorry, they have to make a living like everyone else. If you make your initial court appearance and tell the judge you can’t afford an attorney (and have proof of that) he will explain what your options are. my avatar’s hot!

Civil Legal Aid. Go ask your local court clerk’s office for their contact information. Every state has a CLA office. Also, if you have a Law School near you, youcan often get student representation through their Legal Clinic. Students are supevised by attorney-professors. cyanne2ak
