    Try this website:

    martindale.com

Look for a atty in family law and look close for an AV rated attorney.
If it’s a small office with the AV rating— that is even better!

It;s called peer review rating and AV is the best you can get.

Stay away from lawyers who advertise alot. That’s clue #1 to stay away.
The reason I say a small law firm is better with the AV rating is because the sole practitioner is the one who actually earned the rating. And in this case, this attorney is going to be very careful for their other attorneys in his office to do their best.

IN other words— say John Doe has earned an AV rating and his business is booming and he has hired several lawyers for his law firm.
These attorneys automatically get to use the prestigious AV rating ONLY because they work for the guy who actually earned this rating.

So, in this case— less attorneys with this type of rating is actually more.

You can check mark on the martindale site to include the peer reviewed ratings.

    Good luck.
